Meeting Place: Ticket Office
Itinerary 2h:
 
You will meet your guide at the ticket office with a POMPEI GRAND TOUR sign.
The tour begins with an introduction at the vantage point where there is a full view of the ancient city.
You enter the city to visit the taverns, the baths, the Sacellum of the Augustals, and the development of the Roman Domus typology. You access the Palestra still partly buried by volcanic material.
You then descend to the ancient beach where some 300 skeletons, victims of Vesuvius' devastating fury, were found.

NB. The ticket is free for all citizens, under the age of 18 y.o. (with an identification document).
